Massage Techniques
Our expert physiotherapists use massage to alleviate pain and enhance mobility by targeting specific muscle groups and soft tissues. This therapeutic approach helps to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. By assessing individual needs, our physios tailor the massage techniques to address specific injuries or conditions. Ultimately, massage plays a crucial role in the overall rehabilitation process, supporting recovery and improving quality of life.
With two convenient locations in Magill and Salisbury, we are easily accessible to residents across the region.
Our Magill practice is ideally located for those in Tranmere, Hectorville, Rostrevor, Kensington Gardens, and Burnside, while our Salisbury practice serves the surrounding suburbs of Paralowie, Salisbury Downs, Brahma Lodge, Elizabeth Vale, and Parafield Gardens.
We use various techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and stretching to target areas of tension, tightness, or dysfunction. It is often used to alleviate chronic pain, muscle stiffness, or conditions like sports injuries, postural imbalances, or joint mobility issues. Our massage therapists are trained to understand anatomy and physiology, enabling them to tailor the treatment to individual needs. It is not only therapeutic but can also help in preventing future injuries, promoting relaxation, and improving overall well-being.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage focuses on deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues to relieve chronic pain, muscle tension, and knots. Ideal for addressing tight or overused muscles.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy targets specific tight spots or "trigger points" in muscles to relieve pain and improve mobility. This technique is particularly useful for chronic pain and tension-related issues.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release aims to release tension in the fascia (connective tissue surrounding muscles) to improve flexibility, posture, and reduce pain.
Sports Massage
Designed for athletes, this massage focuses on preventing and treating sports injuries, enhancing performance, and speeding up recovery.
Stretch and Release Therapy
Combines massage with stretching techniques to increase range of motion and alleviate muscle tightness.
